Takapuna Beach

Takapuna Beach is the thriving beachside community just north of Auckland City. The area boasts the best urban beach in Auckland, known for its golden sands and beautiful views of Rangitoto Island. Our beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or even walking the dog!

Takapuna is also particularly renowned for its café culture, as well as its many restaurants and gastro bars. You can enjoy an al fresco breakfast, lunch or coffee either in the town centre, or overlooking Takapuna’s waterfront. The township also boasts a huge variety of boutique shops.

Takapuna Beach Holiday Park has a laid back atmosphere where everything you need is only a short stroll away. You can walk into town to catch a movie, a theatrical performance or even a world class event at Takapuna’s Bruce Mason Centre! Takapuna’s famous Sunday Markets also run every Sunday 6am-12pm (rain or shine) in the Anzac Street Car Park, just a short walk from the park.
