We are open from 8.30am to 7.00pm daily. If there is no one in reception during these hours, or for an after hours emergency, please push the pager button for assistance.

We accept cash, Eftpos, Mastercard & Visa. There is a 2% surcharge on all payments made with a Mastercard or Visa.

We suggest that you do pre-book in order to avoid disappointment on arrival, as we may not be able to accommodate you otherwise.

Yes. In order for us to secure your booking, a one night deposit is required at the time of booking.

It absolutely is. We use a totally secure payment system.

Yes you can. When you make an online booking with a minimum value of $200, and your arrival date is more than 14 days away, you will be given the option of a payment plan. You can pay off your booking in smaller regular payments each week, fortnight, or month. Just follow the easy steps to make this happen.

Our child age range is from 2 years to 14 years inclusive. There is no charge for toddlers under the age of 2.

No, we don’t sell bread or milk. The closest supermarket is New World Metro Shore City, which is a 3 minute drive (or a 15 minute walk) from Takapuna Beach Holiday Park.

No, we don’t offer caravans/campervans or tents for rent. You need to supply your own.

Unfortunately no. Our tent sites are situated on an elevated area with 3 stairs, and no vehicle access.

No sorry, you need to supply your own power lead.

You need a proper RCD camping lead which can be purchased for about $110 from the likes of Mitre 10. A regular domestic 3 pin extension lead is NOT compatible with the power boxes.

Unfortunately not sorry, Our base rates are for 1-2 people.

Our Seaview Units and Cosy Cabins both sleep a maximum of 2 people. Sorry, there is no possibility of adding a 3rd person (adult, child or infant) as the cabins don’t physically have the space & have only been set up for 2 people.

Our Seaview Units are fully self-contained. They have a private bathroom, as well as a kitchenette with fridge, freezer, stove top and microwave.

Our Cosy Cabins, however, do not have a kitchen or bathroom. Guests will need to use the communal toilets, showers and kitchens. You will also need to supply your own cooking and eating equipment, though we do have a kitchen kit available for hire which can be arranged on arrival.

We provide all bedding & towels for guests staying in all units/cabins.

All our team speak English, and Emilie speaks fluent French… Ou La La 😉

Let the team know if you are planning on arriving after hours so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

This really depends on how busy we were the night before and how quickly we can get through the daily cleaning. The best thing to do is contact us the day before arrival and speak to one of the team to see if this is a possible option. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees.

No we don’t. You can enter or leave the park as you wish (we don’t lock the gates). We just ask that you are considerate of your fellow campers.

There is no extra charge or timers on our showers. We just ask that you are considerate of your fellow campers and keep shower times to a minimum.

We don’t lock our communal facilities, so there is 24 hour access to them.

Yes we do. Our machines take $1 & $2 coins. Coins can be exchanged in reception as well as purchasing washing powder. The laundry is open 24/7.

No we don’t, sorry. Guests need to provide their own cooking & eating utensils. We do provide hot plates, a microwave, a communal fridge, and jugs for hot water.

Our drinking water is on ‘town supply’ and is nice to drink.

Pets are only allowed on Powered Sites, during certain times of the year, and with express permission from the managers.

Arrangement for bringing a pet into the Holiday Park must be made prior to arrival. A Pet Policy form will need to be completed & signed on arrival. We strongly recommend reading our full Pet Policy before you make your booking.

Please note that we don’t allow pets into any of our accommodation or shared facilities. A $250 fee will be applied if evidence of this is found.

We provide free & unlimited WiFi for our guests. Please collect the WiFi access code on arrival.

Yes, we provide free parking. We allow one car park per cabin.

On your allocated powered or tent site, you need to be able to fit your car, caravan/campervan/tent/boat, awning, and all your camping accessories.

Our site sizes range in length from 5.5m to 11m, and width 5.0 to 8.5m. Vehicle size will be required at the time of booking – this way we can allocate the best site to suit your needs.

We can store a small amount of luggage for a short period of time only. Talk to one of the team during your stay.

We are a small holiday park with a very limited amount of space so it really depends on the time of year. Ask the managers who will assess this on a case by case scenario.

What a great gift, and yes we do. Takapuna Beach Holiday Park Gift Vouchers can be purchased quickly and easily online. Our vouchers are available in $50, $100, or $200 amounts.

We expect guests to be considerate of their fellow guests and to keep noise to an absolute minimum between 10pm- 7am. This includes noise from vehicles, motorbikes, music and talking.

Please use our after hours pager button to alert the managers on duty of the disturbance at the time it is occurring. It is very difficult for us to address the situation in the morning or after the fact.

If you or someone is having a medical emergency, call 111 and notify management of the situation. We are located at 22 The Promenade, Takapuna 0622.

If another type of emergency is occurring, call 111 and select FIRE or POLICE. Again, please notify management of the situation.

We are lucky to have a number of supermarkets located within an easy 5 minute drive of the Holiday Park. The closest supermarket is New World Metro Shore City.

You can get a great coffee and great food with excellent service from Takapuna Beach Cafe, which is located right next door to the Holiday Park… Sooooooo good!!
