Great place to stay in the heart of Takapuna and right on the beach. It is a social spot during the day with lots of people and shops close by, but it is also very quiet and relaxing. I was lulled to sleep by the gentle swish of the ocean. They are also dog friendly, which was a wonderful bonus. We will definitely be returning!

Just an awesome location with a friendly team. Sites are a little compact and the buildings are clean albeit a little dated. Refurbishment due 2021. Don’t let any of that put you off. I feel so lucky to have found this site overlooking the water, 30 seconds walk from a cafe, 5 minutes walk from a vibrant town centre.

The greeting was very friendly and arrival and departure processes straightforward. We very much appreciated the hot showers and superb beach front location. Sadly we only had one night, I hope we get back here to explore more.

The wife and myself stayed 2 nights in our camper.Our son and his girlfriend stayed in one of the cabins.The camp is a basic down to earth camping ground with all the necessities for a comfortable camping experience.Our only complaint is the 2pm book in time.Would definitely stay there again

A wonderful and convenient location, beach-front sites well worth the extra cost. A new owner in the last few months, has a huge challenge to upgrade the campground, work is well underway. Managed by a lovely young couple, they are putting every minute of spare time into repairs and upgrades. Next year a huge investment for a rebuild is being planned, the new owner has a lot of experience in the industry. Despite earlier reviews, I would still highly recommend – nice big kitchen, excellent new laundry equipment, good showers, and hopefully the potholes will be remedied soon.

We were here three weeks ago and very impressed. This time new cabins have been installed. Lots of campers. Love the unlimited wifi. So close to takapuna and the city. Friendly staff clean facilities.

Staff are always friendly. Accommodation is good and you get what you pay for. I love that it’s very close to the beach. A quiet and charming holiday park just down the street of a busy shopping district.
